Who We Are

NEW HOBBY is a Bulgarian electronics design studio specialising in metal detectors, ion detectors, and custom PCB development. Every detector we sell is designed in-house — from schematic to finished PCB — giving us full control over performance, reliability, and quality.

Our Design Expertise

We design our own detector circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) from the ground up. This means we are not reselling generic products — we engineer each detector for specific detection goals, whether that is ground-balancing for mineralised soil, pulse induction depth, or ion field sensitivity. We also offer custom PCB design services for clients who need tailored electronics solutions — a natural extension of the same technical skills behind our detector range.

Quality & Standards

Each detector is assembled and tested before shipping. We apply careful component selection and PCB layout practices to ensure consistent performance across units. Our ion detectors meet the same in-house standards as our metal detectors — practical, field-tested, and built to last.
